MESOSTABYL or “PHOSPHATIDYLCOLINE” is a product for the treatment of “localized” lipodystrophies and obesity. Phosphatidylcholine, the only active principle of “mesostabyl”, belongs to the group of stimulants of the degradation, mobilization, and elimination of lipids (fat).
Composition: Poly-Unsaturated Phosphatidylcholine 300 Mg.
Phosphatidylcholine: It is a phosphoglyceride (phospholipid derived from glycerol) that is found in abundance in most cell membranes of higher organisms. It has a mobilizing lipotropic action, by increasing the fluidity or permeability of the adipocyte membrane, favoring the exit of the lipid component (fat). This favoring fact of permeability is related to the saturation of fatty acids (it decreases permeability by increasing the saturation) that is why a polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholine is used. It is a strong emulsifier, that is, it converts the solid adipocyte into a fluid water-fat or oily solution, easier to metabolize. Adipocytes contain: tag, palmitic, stearic, and oleic acid, with 10% water in thin people to 30% water in obese people, no matter how much water-fat there is, because phosphatidylcholine it emulsifies it and is a strong helper in fat embolism prophylaxis and therapy.
Application technique and protocols:
ü A minimum of 10 sessions are needed, as shock treatment, extending to 16 sessions, performed with an interval of about 7 days each session. (that is, 1 weekly session for 4 months), and then it is complemented with 1 monthly maintenance session.
ü The infiltration is subdermal, in subcutaneous cellular tissue, it is required to inject at an angle of 90º (perpendicular to the skin), at a maximum depth of the needle cone. A 30g ½ bd needle (13mm x 0.3mm) will be used and a small amount of the product is introduced, which can vary from 0.1ml to 0.3ml for each infiltration or puncture, with a distance of 2 to 3 cm. . between each infiltration or puncture, repeating said operation in the area to be treated until it is completely covered, it should be taken into account if the area is facial, which is more delicate and fine than corporal.
